The leaf pattern of Calathea "Compactstar" looks almost as if it had been painted with fine brush strokes. You've probably already guessed: this plant is a particularly decorative specimen that can become a highlight among your houseplants.
For the colors of Calathea "Compactstar" the artist has used delicate and strong shades of green to color the leaves artistically. The underside of the leaves has a surprise in store: they are not also green, but are a delicate shade of red. This comes into its own when your muse retires to sleep at night, because it folds its leaves upwards to do so. The leaves of Calathea "Compactstar" also move during the day, as they follow the course of the light. If you want to paint the basket marante, however, you don't have to exhort it to stand still, because these movements are teeny and barely perceptible.
This basket marante is especially picturesque in a bright place without direct sunlight and unfolds its full beauty in high humidity. It enjoys its water in small but regular amounts - so the soil is always moist, but never wet.

For delivery of your new houseplant Tuesday through Saturday, order acceptance is valid until 3:00 pm the day before delivery. If the plant is to be delivered on a Monday, the order will be accepted until 15:00 on Friday. The delivery time for standard shipping is 1-2 working days. The delivery on the desired day is therefore not guaranteed. Shipping by Express is not possible for plants.
An article from the plant assortment is always treated separately. Unfortunately, the order cannot be combined with bouquets or XXL plants. We ask you to place a second order. Combination with gifts is possible.
